Cordless Window Treatments for Child Safety near Fletcher, NC

According to the CPSC, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and their recent report, an average of nine young children die every year from window treatment cord-related injuries. The CPSC, in response to these deaths and other related injuries, unanimously voted to strengthen federal window safety regulations and requirements, adding some cords and mechanisms to a list of household hazards, similar to where one might find things such as accessible medicine, sharp knives, and fire risks. Soon, window treatment manufacturers will be held to new standards when it comes to potentially dangerous mechanisms in their products.
